Denon Avr 3808 Update

Sound United has announced its latest firmware update for Marantz and Denon AV receivers (AVRs). With this update, home theater enthusiasts will enjoy DTX:Pro for 13-channel decoding of DTS:X/IMAX DTS:X content, and DTS Neural:X capability has been expanded up to 13 channels. The update also enables Denon AVR-X8500H and Marantz AV8805 to support Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization technology, Front Wide speakers for Dolby Surround playback. The popular Dolby Center Spread functionality will be restored on the 2019 and 2020 AVR models. The firmware updates impact each AVR differently based on channel count and hardware-specific architecture.

AVR Ultimate Feature Package Upgrade Denon is currently offering a feature enhanced firmware upgrade for the AVR-3808CI and AVR-4308CI surround sound receivers. Should you have any problems during the installation of the firmware upgrade please, call 1-201-762-6665 and select option 1 for assistance. I have just swapped my Sony str dh810 with a Denon 3808 but am having problems setting up to tv and getting audio out I have a sony smart tv with optical out and HDMI Sony Bluray and Sky Plus I have set speakers up and done the test. Any advice welcomed. There are now firmware updates available through our DPMS (Denon Product Management Server) for AVR- 3808CIs – USA and Canada models only (please verify serial numbers and firmware version numbers below). These updates allow Denon to address certain operating issues, as well as adding new features and functionality.
